DuoScrubber Wheel and Tire Cleaner
The dual-purpose DuoScrubber® cleans tires, wheels, and the lower body in just five feet of tunnel space.Which means the DuoScrubber can replace both rocker brushes and tire scrubbers, in one compact unit –to free up space for other revenue-generating equipment and help maximize your ROI.
Its two counter-rotating disks wash the way you would, with a low-RPM hand washing type of motionmade more efficient for production line speed. This action cleans the leading and trailing edges of vehiclesurfaces equally well, while the flexible B-Pad™ backers ensure the disks bend, flex, and contour everysurface, including off road tires and stubborn running boards – regardless of vehicle size.
The built-in foamer blankets the wash media and vehicle with foaming soap, while the Christmas Tree cut foam fingers attack stubborn soils, keeping dirt away from the vehicle until it’s safely rinsed. What’s more, the bi-level media delivers multi-faceted wheel cleaning – including deep between wheel spokes.
DuoScrubber Wheel Cleaner
For clean wheels, a good scrub is a great start. That's why the DuraScrubber®, part of Belanger's complete wheel cleaning system, offers "eight feet of clean" – a full 96-inch length to ensure that even the largest wheels get scrubbed through a complete rotation.
DuraScrubber features alternating 12" and 7" diameter crushed end tip bristles, to clean deep between wheel spokes, while also scrubbing the intricate latticework and foreground designs of today's complex OEM and aftermarket rim assemblies.
Because a wheel scrubber is called upon twice for every vehicle washed, the DuraScrubber is built to last. Featuring a frame of double-wall aluminum and oversized pivot bearings and brush spindle bearings, the DuraScrubber is engineered for extreme durability.
Available in your choice of hydraulic or electric drive, and requiring only the corresponding hydraulic or electrical connection and an airline, DuraScrubber is easily integrated into your wash bay. This simple installation offers you a true "set and forget" wheel cleaning solution.
Chemical Tire Applicator
Every tunnel operator knows that clean wheels are a high priority for customers. So Belanger’s Chemical Tire Applicator™ is designed to help operators prioritize wheel cleaning. Its foaming application improves surface coverage and ensures the solution ‘clings’ to moving wheels – for unsurpassed cleaning results.
Designed for long-haul performance, this free-standing pair of applicators features stainless-steel construction. The included MixStir mixing station provides cleaning solution at a consistent dilution ratio – allowing the operator to ‘set and forget’ their wheel cleaning chemical delivery.
Once configured, the Chemical Tire Applicator can be activated by a simple bell hose style switch ormechanical treadle. The length of time chemical is dispensed is easily controlled on the pumping panel,ensuring that even the largest wheels get evenly coated through a complete rotation. To meet the dual goals of superior application and minimal chemical consumption, the OFF delay timer on the pumping panel can be quickly adjusted – precisely matching the CTA’s application ‘window’ to the traveling speed of vehicles in the operator’s wash tunnel.
DuraBlaster High-Pressure Wheel Cleaner
The DuraBlaster® CV Wheel Cleaner is the industry's smoothest and most reliable lateral-pivot wheel cleaner, engineered for consistent wheel tracking for up to four feet of conveyor travel - while avoiding the erratic 'flip' movement seen on competing models.
The patented DuraBot, converts pneumatic piston travel directly into oscillating motion - eliminating the jerky movement associated with traditional linkages. For maximum reliability and uptime, the DuraBot uses ball bearing construction with a greased-for-life design. And since operators deserve ultimate control, the DuraBlaster also features an on-board speed control that can be dialed in, right in the bay.
Made to accommodate many tunnel configurations, the DuraBlaster features a small operating envelope of 24" x 28", and is easily placed under existing equipment. We know every operator has their own preferences, so the DuraBlaster is designed to work with two different integrated pump stations, that offer medium-pressure and high-pressure applications.
To ensure total coverage from sidewall to sidewall, the DuraBlaster uses twin stacked 8" diameter stainless steel spinners per side, that together use 8 zero-degree nozzles to deliver total wheel coverage at multiple angles of attack. What's more, these spinners help clean the front bumper and grille as each vehicle approaches.
